（1） Size measurement of the original strip

When measuring abnormal phenomena such as diameter, knots, and tree nodules, the measurement should be moved to the normal part towards the tip direction. If the diameter measurement site encounters a depression caused by skin clipping, partial dryness, trauma, or joint detachment, its original shape should be restored for measurement.

2. Big head splitting, regardless of whether it falls off or not, the thickness of the larger section (carry size) is equivalent to the diameter of the ruler and is not counted; If it is smaller than the measuring diameter, it should be deducted to a length equivalent to the measuring diameter, and the measuring length should be re determined, but the original measuring diameter remains unchanged. For those with a splitting length of more than 2.5m, the measuring diameter is still measured at a distance of 2.5m from the ruler head. For those that have fallen off, the average of their long and short diameters is used as the measuring diameter after rounding, and the original measuring length remains unchanged; For those that have not fallen off, the original diameter (excluding the diameter after cracks) shall still be used as the measuring diameter after rounding, and the measuring length shall be deducted according to the above regulations.
